NB. At the request of Elmbridge Canoe Club (whose premises we use as our Race HQ), we are delaying the start of Division 1 to 10:15 a.m. to give the canoeists time to finish their training. Competitors, please DO NOT attempt to boat from the Canoe Club for Division 1, as you will get in their way and cause further delay.

Course:     River Thames, 3000 metres upstream from Walton Rowing Club to Elmbridge Canoe Club.

Events:     The Head will be run in TWO divisions at 10.00am and 12.00 noon.

                   The following events are offered in both divisions.

                    Eights                         Open and Women: Elite, S1, S2, S3, Novice, J15, J16, J18, Veteran
 Octuple Sculls           Open and Women: J15, J14 NEW
 Coxed Fours              Open and Women: Elite, S1, S2, S3, Novice, J15, J16, J18, Veteran, VetNovice
 Coxless Fours            Open and Women: Elite, S1, S2, S3, J16, J18, Veteran
 Coxed Quad Sculls    Open and Women: J14, J15, Novice, VetNovice
 Coxless Quad Sculls  Open and Women: Elite, S1, S2, S3, J16, J18, Veteran
 Double Sculls             Open and Women: Elite, S1, S2, S3, Novice, J15, J16, J18, Veteran, VetNovice

 Prizes:       A commemorative plaque will be awarded each winning crew provided that at least three entries are received and two compete.  Veteran categories will be combined and handicapped according to ARA Rules if insufficient entries are received in any one category.

 Rules:       A crew may race in more than one division, but not in the same event.
Competitors are reminded that boats must display ARA-standard identity codes when being used on the Thames.

Fees:          £6 per competitor per event (coxes free).
Cheques should be made payable to 'Weybridge Rowing Club'

Entries:      Please state your preferred division; we will do our best to accommodate you but you may be moved if your chosen division is full.
Entries should be submitted via OARA or on ARA standard Head forms using a separate form for each event and division and sent to:

                  to arrive no later than 10 p.m. on Saturday 10th January.

                   Summaries of entries may be emailed to weyrowclub@aol.com or faxed to 0871 661 2428
and individual forms and entry fees must follow by post.

The draw will take place at the above address at noon on Sunday 11th January.
